NorCal Sharks High Performance Center


The 2015 NorCal Sharks High Performance Center primary focus is player development. NorCal Sharks members are provided with the best opportunity to achieve their potential as elite field hockey players. High Performance Center training sessions will provide local players the possibility to train under the direction of USA Field Hockey National Team coaches. Former USA National Team members, Steve Danielson and Patrick Cota will coordinate all training and competition for the NorCal Sharks. Steve and Patrick have a combined 30+ years of international playing experience including representing the USA in over 300 international test matches (Caps) including major international events such as the Pan American Games, World Cup and Olympic Games.


The NorCal Sharks are required to train once a week in a competitive environment .


NorCal Sharks training sessions are open to anyone under the age 16. Each member must register as a free Rush Field Hockey member.

NorCal Sharks trainings are held at Stanford Hockey Stadium. Stanford University completed installation of the world’s premier surface, AstroTurf System 90, in August 2013.


The cost for NorCal Sharks High Performance Center 4 week training block will be $200. This will include training pinnie, coaching, training site fees. Players will be responsible for travel costs to training
