USA Field Hockey’s Level 2 Instructional Clinic is a 14-hour offering that will be held at Michigan State University on Saturday, February 2, 9:00-6:00 pm, and Sunday, February 3, 8:00-1:00 pm. Your Coach Educators will be Director of Coach Education & Learning, Craig Parnham and Associate Head Coach of Michigan State University, Tamara Durante.
This course will expand on several of the topics covered in the Level 1 clinic and will challenge participants to further define and evaluate their individual coaching philosophies, styles, techniques and encourage self-assessment. Additionally, coaches will work in groups to share best practices and receive peer feedback in a comfortable and encouraging environment.
The Level 2 Instructional Coaching Clinic will cover the following topics:

Participants will be accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis and space is limited.
USA Field Hockey Level 2 Instructional Clinic attendees will receive a Level 2 Certificate of Participation and, with USA Field Hockey membership, will be eligible to coach in USA Field Hockey programs including becoming a Head Coach of Futures and Junior Olympics (application process). Participants will also be able to advance further as we continue to expand offerings within USA Field Hockey’s Coach Education Program.
